The Articulated Arm has two 5/8" (16mm) hex shaped studs, one with a 3/8"-16 female thread and one with a 1/4"-20 female thread. The 1/4"-20 female thread can be used to mount AbleNet switches through their universal mounting plates. An additional adapter spigot (KS-054, not included) can convert the 3/8"-16 female thread to 1/4"-20 male thread for mounting cameras & camcorders. The Articulated Arm has three 360 degree joints that allow you to easily adjust the position and angle of your phone. The joints are equipped with two thermoplastic friction discs and tooth patterns at the center to provide solid locking mechanisms. The hex studs of the Articulated Arm can be inserted into compatible attachments such as the Thick Table Clamp (KMB-600) and the Super Convi Clamps (KCP-700).
